Rob Stocke is the Director of Instruction at the Golf Club of Georgia, located just outside Atlanta. Since he began teaching in 1991, he has worked with players of all skill levels, from beginners to touring professionals. Rob currently works with professionals on every major mens tour, including: PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, European Tour, Canadian Tour, Australian Tour, and several mini-tours.

While Rob teaches all aspects of the game, he is very scoring oriented. His philosophy of Teach people to play golf, don’t teach golf to people gives students insight on how to lower their scores immediately, by learning to play the game, not play a golf swing. His use of unique practice routines, video analysis, drills, and an overall understanding of the game and how people learn it, allow Robs students to improve their games quickly while enjoying the process.

In November 2004 Rob Stocke was one of the first professionals in the nation awarded Specialty Certification in Instruction by the PGA of America – he helped develop and critique the testing program, and is considered by the PGA as a Subject Matter Expert. Rob conducts lessons utilizing the highest state-of-the-art technology, including: the Taylor Made MAT-T (Motion Analysis Technology by Taylor Made) a 3-D instruction/ fitting tool, the first of only 15 facilities in the world with this technology, and Dartfish video software. This technology allows students to better understand changes and to improve at an increased pace.

Prior to joining the Golf Club of Georgia Rob taught and assisted at several prestigious clubs including: The Atlanta Athletic Club, Old Overton Club in Birmingham, AL; Johns Island Club in Vero Beach, FL; Elk River Club in Banner Elk, NC; and was an Assistant Director for Golf Digest Schools in Tarpon Springs, FL.
