Rob was honored to be named the recipient of the Inaugural “PGA Magazine Ambassador of The Year” award by Kirk Pagenkopf, President & Publisher of PGA Magazine on January 27, at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL. Rob was responsible for driving over $70,000 to golf destinations throughout the world in 2011. The PGA Ambassador Program is an exclusive, invite-only program offered to PGA Professionals that is a highly targeted relationship-marketing program designed to leverage the influence of PGA Professionals by familiarizing them with specific destinations, resorts, and golf courses.

I’ve recently added TrackMan to my arsenal of teaching/clubfitting tools! If you aren’t familiar with TrackMan, it is the most sophisticated and accurate launch monitor in the world! Based on doppler radar technology, TrackMan tracks the entire flight of the golf ball in real time and measures 22 data points on every shot. US Girls’ Junior Championship

Congratulations go out to students Emily Kurey and Mariah Stackhouse for their outstanding play qualifying for the US Girls’ Junior Championship at Olympia Fields CC. Mariah advanced to the round of 16 in match play, and Emily just missed qualifying for match play, but both played hard and had a great experience! Look for big things from both in the future!
